Caprice Artistic Swimming Club athlete and coach Cindy Yoshida captured two gold medals at the 2026 Masters National Championships, held in Toronto in June.

A longtime participant in artistic swimming, Yoshida continues to contribute to the sport both as a competitor and coach. Now in her second year on the coaching team at Caprice, she supports the development of young athletes while continuing to train and compete.

According to Caprice coach Sidney Shindle, Yoshida's commitment and work ethic have made her an inspiration within the club.  "From the moment I met her, I could tell that she had a fire within her," said Shindle. "Over the years, I've seen her push herself out of her comfort zone, train when others didn't, make up practices that were missed and dedicate herself to the sport."

Yoshida's passion for artistic swimming is reflected not only in her success at Masters Nationals, but also in her commitment to supporting the next generation of athletes through coaching.
